VENUE

The Old Town of Dubrovnik, nicknamed "the Pearl of the Adriatic", is renown for its beauty and cultural heritage, and it is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. Stradun, Dubrovnik's central promenade, is bustling with life. One of the lovely features of Dubrovnik is that one can make a tour of its churches, monasteries, museums, palaces, and city walls on foot. Other activities include swimming, sailing, diving, and excursions.

Terms & Conditions
Please refer to the hotel reservation terms listed at the respective hotel online reservation web site. The summary of terms (below) is provided for your convenience (the conference organizers take no responsibility whatsoever).
Reservations
- In order to benefit from the special agreed rates the conference participants have to make reservations no later than August 15th, 2012.
- On-line Hotel reservation system requires credit card information in order to guarantee payment. The hotel reservation without credit card information is not possible.
- After the deadline (August 15th, 2012) special rates will be applicable depending on availability.
- The special agreed rates are valid 3 days prior to and after the conference.
Cancellation policy
- On-line reservation can be canceled without any charge by up to 30 days prior to arrival date.
- If the reservation is cancelled between 29 and 15 days prior to arrival date, the hotel reserves the right to charge the participant's credit card for a one (1) night stay.
- If the reservation is cancelled between 14 and 8 days prior to arrival date, the hotel reserves the right to charge the participant's credit card for two (2) night stay.
- If the reservation is cancelled within 7 days prior to arrival date or in case of no-show, the hotel reserves the right to charge the participant's credit card for the total amount of stay.

Local transfer to/from the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel from/to the Old Town
The easiest and the cheapest way to get from/to the Old Town to/from the hotel is by public transport, i.e., by the local city bus ("Libertas"). The station in Old Town at which most of the bus lines start from is "Pile".
The Line 4 operates between Hotel Palace and Pile at approximately 20-minutes' intervals (go to Libertas web site for more information).

Tickets: Bus tickets are sold at the "Libertas" kiosk at the Pile station, as well as at most newsstands, hotels, and tourist agencies.
A single ride ("S-ticket) costs 12 HRK when purchased in advance, and 15 HRK when puchased from the driver. Discounted tickets for multiple rides are also available; ask at the "Libertas" kiosk at the Pile station.
Airport transfer to/from the Dubrovnik Palace Hotel
Dubrovnik airport is located about 20 km south of Dubrovnik. Bus transport between Dubrovnik airport and the port of Gruž is operated by Atlas transport company. The bus costs 35 HRK. Taxies are also available, but more expensive (expect to pay 200 - 235 HRK).
